Sokol Hall Rental

Built in 1887, the C.S.P.S. Hall is the longest serving national hall and theatre in Minnesota as well as the longest serving Czech-Slovak hall in continuous use in the United States.

Our three-story commercial building is in the heart of Minnesota’s first neighborhood and commercial artery of West Seventh Street.

Add a new dimension to your event in our historic C.S.P.S. Sokol Hall, a multi-purpose facility for nearly 140 years. This three-story commercial building in the heart of Minnesota’s first neighborhood and commercial artery of West Seventh Street, is a short mile from St. Paul’s Xcel Center, and three miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport, with convenient freeway access to I-94 and I-35E.

Amenities

The hall is located on the 2nd level with 2,500 sq ft (50’ x 50’)
The hall has oak floor and trim, tin ceiling, separate cloakroom, grand stair case, and is handicapped accessible with its elevator at the parking lot entrance. Seating capacity from 160 – 300, depending on configuration.

Bar includes wet sink, counter space, beer tap, twelve 2’ x 2’ tables, padded seating, natural light, counter space, access to kitchen/serving. Capacity 50. Bar services by arrangement.

Licensed commercial kitchen with 400 sq ft (20’ x 20’)
Available only to licensed commercial caterers on a negotiated basis.

Hall rental is part of a larger program of financial support for our organization.
Our celebrations throughout the year raise funds to support programming and support facilities including our annual Czech and Slovak Festival, Festival of Nations, ethnic-themed dinners, fall Harvest and spring Šibřinky/ Mardi Gras dances.
